Finding Porky
(The barn door slowly creeks open, and Bubbley the cow walks in. The barn is filled with many other animals.)
Bubbly: Howdy ya’ll
Barn animals: Hey! Hi ya! How’s it going?
(Chelsea, a small rabbit runs up to Bubbly.)
Bubbly! Bubbly! You’ll never guess what.
Bubbly: What? Tell me!
Farmer Bob just got a new Pot belly pig, his name is Porky
Bubbly: Where is he? Did you meet him yet?
No, but he is on his way here, RIGHT NOW!
Bubbly: We need to call a barn meeting.
(The door swings open!)
Porky: Hi everybody, I’m porky!
(Everybody goes to meet him.)
Bubbly: You will be staying right next to Robert, follow me I’ll show you.
(They go find Porky’s room, when they get there Porky see that he will be staying next to a goat. Porky gets very upset.)
Porky: What! I’m not staying by that goat!
Bubbly: Well this is the only spot left. So you will have to live with it.
(Porky storms off into his room.)
(The next morning, when everybody wakes up, bubbly could not find Porky anywhere.)
Bubbly: Chelsea have you seen Porky anywhere?
Chelsea: No, why do you ask?
Bubbly: I can’t find him.
Chelsea: hmmm… I will go ask around.
Bubbly: ok.
(20 min. later)
Chelsea: Hey, Bubbly I talked to Robert and he said, last night he and porky got in a fight, and porky ran off.
Bubbly: Oh boy, we need to have a barn meeting.
Chelsea: I will go gather everyone.
(Barn meeting)
Bubbly: Porky ran away. (Oh no! What? When?) We need to find porky before the farmer gets back from the fields. We will split up into pairs of two. So find a partner and we will start looking. At four o’clock we will meet back here.
Barn animals: ok let’s get going.
(A half an hour later and still no sign of Porky)
Robert: Bubbly I think I might know where Porky is…
Bubbly: where?
Robert: I think he might of went back to his old home, last night when we were fighting he said he wished he didn’t move here. He said he wished he was at his old home with his friends.
Bubbly: oh no. do you know where his old house is?
Robert: Nope, but Chelsea probably does, she knows everything.
Bubbly: well then let’s go find out.
Robert: Chelsea, where did Porky use to live?
Chelsea: do you know that red barn two miles down the road.
Bubbly: ya.
Chelsea: well you turn left there and go a quarter of a mile from there and it will be right on your left.
Bubbly: great why don’t you and Robert go there and look for him, and I will I figure out what to do with farmer Bob.
Chelsea: alright I’ll tell the others.
(Hour later.)
Chelsea: it’s right behind those trees.
Robert: ok
(Knock, knock)
Chelsea: anybody home?
(Porky peeks his head out the door)
Chelsea: Porky! What are you doing?
Porky: I’m not coming back!
Robert: Well I’m sorry that, you don’t like me, but that’s your problem!
Chelsea: Be quite ROBERT! We’re trying to get him to come home.
Robert: sorry.
Porky: does farmer Bob know I’m gone?
Chelsea: no not yet.
Porky: well then I guess I will come back.
Chelsea: Great, let’s get going, before farmer Bob finds out.
(Back at the barn)
Bubbly: Chelsea, you found him!
Porky: I’m sorry everybody.
Barn animals: hi ya Porky, go to see you. Hey your back. We were looking all over for you.
(Later that night, Porky and Robert made up, and became good Friends.)
